Salvage Yard Tycoon Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Avantrix Intelligence ("Avantrix Intelligence," "we," "us," or "our") covering your use of Salvage Yard Tycoon (the "Game"). By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is part of these Terms.

1. Who Can Play

You must be at least 13 years old to play the Game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may play only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases you make.

2. Your License to Play

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Game on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the App Store's usage rules. The Game and everything in it, including its code, artwork, sounds, names and characters, belong to Avantrix Intelligence or our licensors. All vehicle makes, models and brands in the Game are fictional.

3. Virtual Items and Currency

The Game includes virtual items and currency, such as cash, Gears, Blueprints and upgrades ("Virtual Items"). You can earn some Virtual Items by playing and buy others with real money.

  • Virtual Items have no monetary value and can't be exchanged for real money, goods or services, or transferred or sold to anyone else.

  • When you buy Virtual Items, you receive a limited license to use them in the Game. You don't own them.

  • We may change how Virtual Items work or how much they cost, for example to balance the Game. We'll never remove a permanent purchase you've paid for, such as a pass, except as described in these Terms.

  • Virtual Items may be lost if you delete the Game without iCloud turned on, or if the Game is discontinued.

4. Purchases and Refunds

All purchases are made through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and payment policies. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy. Except where required by law, all purchases are final. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase doesn't arrive in the Game, try Restore Purchases in the Shop or contact us.

5. Ads

The Game offers optional rewarded video ads, provided by third parties such as Google AdMob, in exchange for in-game rewards. Ads play only when you choose to watch one. We aren't responsible for the content of ads or for third-party products or websites they promote. A reward is granted only when an ad is watched to the end.

6. Fair Play

You agree not to:

  • Cheat, including by changing your device's clock, using modified versions of the Game, or using software that automates play or alters the Game

  • Exploit bugs or errors to gain an advantage (please report them to us instead)

  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or distribute the Game, except where the law allows despite this restriction

  • Use the Game for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that interferes with the Game or with other players

If you break these rules, we may reset affected progress or Virtual Items or end your license to use the Game.

7. Your Progress and Saves

Your progress is stored on your device and, if iCloud is turned on, in your iCloud account. We don't store your progress on our own servers and can't recover a lost save. Keep iCloud turned on to protect your progress and move it between devices.

8. Updates and Changes

We may update the Game from time to time, including to add, change or remove features, rebalance the economy, or fix problems, and some updates may be required to keep playing. We may also change these Terms. If we do, we'll update the Effective Date above, and significant changes will be noted in the Game's App Store release notes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We may discontinue the Game at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avantrix Intelligence will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress or Virtual Items, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid us for in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Ending These Terms

You can stop using the Game at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you break these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, 12 and 13 continue to apply after these Terms end.

12. Apple

These Terms are between you and Avantrix Intelligence, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the Game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the Game. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Game, including product liability claims, claims that the Game fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Where these Terms don't cover something, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Game are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
